Susan is Director of Clinical Administration for the UIC Department of Disability and Human Development at the University of Illinois Chicago. Susan provides individual and group therapy for individuals with Developmental Disability, specializing in trauma and dual diagnosis. In addition, Susan provides consultation around the country on disability-related topics including trauma and trauma-informed care, sexual abuse and human trafficking, sexuality and healthy relationships, and crisis intervention. She is certified in forensic interviewing, with specialized certification in interviewing people with disabilities and people who do not speak. She provides training and consultation for law enforcement and other agencies responsible for the investigation of crimes involving victims and witnesses with disabilities.
