Biography


E.J. Whitney is the Director of Fitness, Aquatics and High-Performance Sports at Turnstone Center. In his role, E.J. is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and supervision of the fitness, aquatics, and high-performance sports programs for children, youth, adults, veterans, and athletes with disabilities. EJ is a graduate from Ball State University with a degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine and has been a fitness professional for 20 years, investing in the health and wellness journeys of people throughout the community in a variety of programs and opportunities. EJ is also the head strength and conditioning coach for the U.S Men’s and Women’s Goalball teams. As the teams' conditioning coach, E.J. has contributed to the teams' long-standing international rankings, international tournament victories, and three Paralympic medals.
