Biography


Amy’s practice focuses on systems change litigation in disability rights, in particular the rights of Deaf and hard of hearing people to effective communication, the rights of people who use wheelchairs to physical access, and the rights of prisoners with disabilities. She also has experience with a wide range of fair housing cases. Prior experience includes serving as the Co-Executive Director from 2013-2021 of Civil Rights Education and Enforcement Center, Denver, Colorado and working at a number of different law firms on civil rights issues. She is a fellow of the American Bar Association and a Fellow Emerita of the Colorado Bar Foundation. She received her law degree from Yale Law School where she served as the Executive Editor of the Yale Journal of International Law.
