Ask an ADA Professional Questions RE: Reasonable Modification of Policies, Practices and Procedures in Health Care Settings

Wednesday, April 12, 2023

Description

Health care facilities covered under the ADA have an obligation to provide necessary reasonable modifications to patients with disabilities. During this program, attendees will have the opportunity to ask ADA professionals questions about Reasonable Modification of Policies, Practices and Procedures in Health Care Settings, such as, when do health care facilities need to provide a sign language interpreter? Can a health care facility refuse a service animal? Are small health care offices ever exempt from providing accommodations?

To ensure your question is answered during the session, individuals are highly encouraged to submit their questions ahead of time via the registration website (the option to submit questions is available once you have registered for the session).

Sign Language Interpreters and Human Generated Real-Time Captioning will be provided for this session.
