Biography
Bill Wallace is an attorney advisor in the Disability Rights Office of the FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau. Bill has practiced in the area of communications law for 35 years. Prior to joining the FCC in 2020, he was an in-house counsel with Verizon Wireless and Verizon, working on a variety of wireless, cable, and accessibility issues. He worked with broadcast, satellite, and wireless companies in private practice for 15 years before joining Verizon. Bill graduated from the University of Florida College of Law, and holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
