Biography


Jenny has been working with individuals with diverse needs for over thirty years. Her interest began early due to growing up with family members with disabilities. She saw the impact of disparate treatment and wanted to become an advocate for change. Jenny received her undergraduate degree in Human Services from the University of Massachusetts and her M.S. in Counseling from California State University. Jenny is also certified as an ADA Coordinator through ACTCP. After completing her undergraduate degree in Human Services Jenny worked in community health centers, food banks and shelters for families with no housing. After receiving her master’s degree, she focused on working on behalf of individuals with disabilities. Her work over the last fifteen years has been with state and local government operations, with a focus on individuals with disabilities and access to services. Jenny joined the Southeast ADA Center, a project of the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University, in 2023. She serves as their Lead Technical Information Specialist.
