Michael El-Zein is an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Michigan, where he has served in the Civil Rights Unit since January 2022. Michael began his federal service in Detroit following his graduation from the University of Michigan Law School in 2014. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office in 2018, Michael worked for the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security.
