Biography
John Cringole, formerly with Horton Automatics (retired), was responsible for monitoring industry trends with regard to product code compliance as well as providing technical training and support to installers and technicians. With 42 years of experience in power operated pedestrian door business he offers extensive knowledge of door design, application, installation, performance, maintenance procedures and building code compliance requirements.
As a board member and past President of BHMA (Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association), John contributes to the development and revision of the four primary ANSI Standards that govern the power operated pedestrian door industry today.
John has been a member of AAADM (American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers) Certification Committee since its inception in 1994 and is currently the association past President. He maintains his role as contributing author of all training materials as well as a Certified Trainer of pedestrian door installers and technicians.
