Biography
Mark D. Urban is the Accessibility Program Manager for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. A co-author on two books regarding accessibility and a frequent presenter at U.S. Access Board and Federal events, Mr. Urban is well-known throughout the U.S. federal community as an authoritative expert on U.S. IT Accessibility Policy. Mr. Urban has worked in disability policy at the global, state, and local level, and served as a Team Lead in CDC’s COVID-19 and Ebola responses. He sits on the Strategic Planning Board of the CDC Data Visualization Scientific Advisory Group.
