Biography


Badar Tareen is an Attorney Advisor in the Disability Rights Section of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Civil Rights Division. Before his current job, Badar worked on various civil rights enforcement matters and rulemakings at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and served as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and DOJ. Badar got his law degree at the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill. He went to Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, where he studied political science and was a trumpet performance and academic scholar.
