Biography


Rebecca Guterman serves as Attorney Advisor in the Disability Rights Section of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Civil Rights Division. Prior to joining DOJ, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Catharine Friend Easterly on the D.C. Court of Appeals and was a legal fellow at Beyond Legal Aid in Chicago, where she worked primarily on housing and immigration cases. Rebecca has previously worked on accessibility issues in a variety of contexts, including housing and education. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Chicago.
