Biography

Kruti Parikh Shah, Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), is a Clinical Operations Pharmacist at RUSH University Medical Center. She is a member of the steering committee of the Disabilities Employee Resource Group (DERG) at RUSH as well as a Diversity and Disability Equity Inclusion Leader in her department. She was diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss at a young age, and due to her firsthand experience with stigma associated with disabilities, she is committed to spreading awareness and acceptance in workplaces and communities. She played a leadership role in advocating for clear masks for hard of hearing/deaf patients and employees at Rush.
