Biography
Dawn Zak, BSW, CSAC Dawn graduated with a BSW from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) and was a certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) for several years. Dawn has wealth of experience as a counselor, seminar leader, curriculum writer and trainer working within both business and clinical settings. She uses approaches that are solution focused as well as creative to address the personal and professional growth needs of individuals, groups and organizations. She has been sought out to assist others in asking courageous questions, identifying challenges and barriers, and discovering a deeper, truer perspective. Her approach has helped people across the lifespan live more authentically and in balance with their life values. Her clinical experience along with her employee assistance professional(EAP) background puts Dawn in a unique position to provide both personal and professional insights. In her role as an Employee Assistance Professional, Dawn developed and provided training, consultation and intervention in the workplace for managers, supervisors and employees. She has presented on stress management, balancing work and family, finding your voice, managing change and dealing with difficult people. Her presentation style is interactive and audience centered. Her approach allows room for many different perspectives while encouraging self reflection and challenges participants to grow both personally and professionally. She has worked both statewide and nationally providing presentations, workshops and consultation.
