Biography
S. Antonio Ruiz-Quintanilla is currently a Senior Research Associate with the Program on Employment and Disability, New York School of Industrial and Labor Relations, Cornell University and Director and Principal Investigator of the Disability Business Technical Assistance Center (DBTAC) - Northeast. He has held research and teaching positions in Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Japan, and the U.S. Current research efforts includes a project identifying demographic patterns and trends using EEOC data on charges filed under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, a study using person-centered practices to facilitate the successful re-entry of inmates with special needs into the community, and a study to assess the characteristics and proficiency of students with disabilities over time and across states, and better understand the relationship between proficiency and state-level, school-level and student-level characteristics. He has written over 50 articles and chapters, which were published in Journals including Social Security Bulletin, Industrial and Labor Relations Review, Journal of Occupational Psychology, Human Resource Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Business Strategy and the Environment. His book publications include two co-edited books with Wiley.
