During this session, participants will gain a better understanding of the existing efforts, barriers, challenges, and opportunities to creating an equitable work environment in state government. A panel discussion will address Indiana state government history with ADA and accommodations, initial and ongoing innovations, changes in existing processes, addressing the needs of people with disabilities, the intersectionality of disability, and ways to better address those experiences. Participants will have an opportunity to ask the speakers questions following the presentation.
